This week at Triumphant Cross: Prayers for the Church on Thursday, Sunday School and Worship on Sunday, plus Cindy Manning's sermon on the cup of cold water is now online.
A sermon by Cindy Manning on Matthew 10:40-42 — exploring discipleship, grace, and what it means to offer a cup of cold water to those around us.
Pastor Kay returns as supply pastor on July 12, and Bishop Kevin Strickland of the ELCA Southeastern Synod leads worship on July 26. Please keep them in your prayers.
Sunday's sermon explored why taking up your cross means more than inspiration — it means sacrifice, surrender, and the hard daily work of following Jesus.
