Women of the ELCA
WELCA at
Triumphant Cross
The women of Triumphant Cross gather for fellowship, prayer, and service to our neighbors in Dothan and across the Wiregrass. All women are welcome.
Fellowship, Faith, and Service
WELCA is our congregation's chapter of Women of the ELCA, connected to women's ministry across the Southeastern Synod and the wider Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Fellowship
Laughter, honest conversation, and care for one another. Our gatherings are a place to build friendships that strengthen us in faith.
Prayer
We lift up one another, our congregation, and our community in prayer, trusting God to guide our work and our lives.
Service
Our members put faith into action through outreach projects such as assembling hygiene kits for neighbors in need through Wiregrass 211.
Our Outreach
Hygiene Kits for Neighbors in Need
Each kit holds a towel, a washcloth, a bar of soap, a comb, toothpaste, and a toothbrush. These simple necessities bring dignity and care to people across the Wiregrass, including those seeking shelter at warming centers in winter.
Partnering with Wiregrass 211
Wiregrass 211 connects people in our area to more than 900 organizations offering health and human services. Read the story of our partnership.
