We Worship

we worship

We are a vibrant community of faith and there is a place for you here!  Come as you are.  Casual attire is fine.  All of God's children are welcome, without exception.  On your first visit, please sign the guest book.

Our Congregation has a membership of about 60, with an average attendance of about 40 each week.

A Nursery is available each week for children through age 4.

Sit wherever you are comfortable.  There are no reserved seats.  Please remember to silence your cell phone.

We have two service/hymnal books.  The Lutheran Book of Worship (LBW) is dark green and  hardbound.  With One Voice (WOV) is blue and softbound.  Both books are in the back of the pew in front of you.  These books are not regularly needed as the service is printed in your bulletin.

Our Order of Worship and Liturgy are printed in the bulletin each week.  You can expect to participate in the service, through singing and responsive group readings.

Each Sunday we have a Children's Sermon.  Children are invited to come forward to sit in front during the message.  Afterward, children age 3 - grade 6 may leave the service to attend Children's Church.  The children rejoin their parents toward the end of the service.

Each Sunday we share the peace.  At a point in the service, we greet each other with hugs or handshakes and say, "Peace be with you."  You are encouraged to participate as you are comfortable in doing so.

We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion every Sunday.  We welcome and invite all to our Lord's Table who believe in the real presence of Christ in the Lord's Supper to bless, forgive, and strengthen us in faith.  Children may receive Holy Communion at the discretion of their parents.  Please come forward at the direction of the ushers down the center aisles to kneel at the altar rail.  Those unable to kneel may stand.  You will receive the bread in your hand to place in your mouth.  You may receive the wine via common cup or you may select grape juice (white) or wine (red) from an individual cup.  After you have received the elements, return to your seat using the side aisles.  If you are unable to come forward, please notify an usher prior to the service and Holy Communion will be served to you in the pew.

We have Food and Fellowship every Sunday following the Worship service.  This is a good time to get to know people.  Please join in each week.
