What does a Lutheran believe?

Scripture alone — not human tradition or church authority — is the final rule for all Christian teaching. Lutherans also confess the ancient creeds and hold that Baptism and Holy Communion are true means through which God delivers His gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation.
